Janakpur

Janakpur is a city located in the southern part of Nepal, near the border with India. It is the administrative center of the Province No. 2 and the largest city in the Janakpur Zone. The city is famous for its historical and cultural significance, as it is believed to be the birthplace of Sita, the wife of Lord Rama in the Hindu epic Ramayana.
