Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1
Haridwar - Barkot
On this day, all the pilgrims (Ex Dehradun or Ex Haridwar) will start their journey comfortably after having breakfast and an early morning bath in the Ganga. Normally, the journey from Haridwar to Barkot takes 7 hours comfortably, with a short break at Kempty Falls if preferred; otherwise, we can reach in 6 hours with a nonstop stretch. During peak season, there is usually heavy traffic in Mussoorie, so sometimes we may need to divert the route to Barkot via Vikas Nagar. In such cases, sightseeing at Kempty Falls may be omitted based on a last-minute decision. Upon reaching Barkot, we will have dinner and retire for the day and night halt. Distance Covered: 210 kms / 7-8 Hrs Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Barkot

Day 2
Barkot - Yamunotri
Early in the morning, we depart for Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti & Phool Chatti. Upon arrival at Janki Chatti, we begin a 5 km trek to Yamunotri. Upon reaching Yamunotri Dham, pilgrims experience a holy dip in Garam (Tapt) Kund, followed by Pooja and Darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji. After the Darshan and Pooja, in the afternoon, we begin the trek back to Janki Chatti. Upon arrival at Janki Chatti, we meet with the driver and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at the hotel. Distance Covered: 42 KM & 5 kms trek Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Barkot

Day 3
Barkot - Uttarkashi
In the late morning, we depart for Uttarkashi after breakfast around 10 AM. Considering the trek to Yamunotri the day before, you might be tired, so today is designated for you to fully rest and recuperate, as the distance between Barkot to Uttarkashi is only 4 hours. This allows you to relax and prepare for the gradually tiring onward journey, as the distance between destinations and road travel will increase. Before checking into your hotel, we'll visit Vishwanath Temple. After check-in, the rest of the day is at your leisure. Night halt at the hotel. Distance Covered: 100 kms / 04 hrs Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Uttarkashi

Day 4
Uttarkashi - Gangotri
With packed breakfast, we depart early in the morning for Gangotri. After offering prayers and experiencing pooja darshan, we will later drive back to Uttarkashi. En route, we will visit Gangnani. Overnight stay will be arranged at Uttarkashi. The Gangotri temple is an 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is situated near a sacred stone where King Bhagirath worshiped Lord Shiva, and Ganga is believed to have touched the earth at this spot. According to another legend, the Pandavas performed the great Deva Yagna here to atone for the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple itself is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. Distance Covered: 100 kms / 04 hrs Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Uttarkashi

Day 5
Uttarkashi - Sitapur
Leave early in the morning with a packed breakfast for an almost day-long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. On your drive, you will pass through areas alongside the Ganges, eventually reaching Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project). Overnight stay will be arranged at a hotel in Sitapur or Guptkashi. This stretch entails the longest road travel between the destinations of the entire Chardham Yatra. Sometimes, due to traffic congestion, it may take more than 10 hours to cover this distance. Upon reaching Sitapur, Rampur, or Guptkashi, we will take a rest. Night stay will be arranged at a hotel. Distance Covered: 200 kms / 04 hrs Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Sitapur

Day 6
Sitapur - Kedarnath
This is the day when we prepare for the most anticipated and challenging part of the Char Dham Yatra: the Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Ji. Many pilgrims have their own preferences and choices based on their physical ability and comfort. Therefore, we have designed the program to cater to both types of pilgrims, whether they prefer to trek or complete the journey by air shuttle. Kedarnath Ji: Nestled in the mighty Garhwal Himalayas, Kedarnath town is one of the most revered temple destinations in India. Divya Shila: It is said that Divya Shila, a sacred rock, safeguards the Baba Kedarnath Temple from the ravages of flood fury. Distance Covered: 21 km trek Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Kedarnath

Day 7
Kedarnath - Sitapur
On this day, we will trek down to Sitapur. Optionally, for maximum utilization of the day, pilgrims may choose to cover the sightseeing or Darshan of Shri Triyugi Narayan Temple (Extra charges may apply) if we stay in Sitapur. Distance Covered: 21 km trek Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Sitapur

Day 8
Sitapur - Badrinath
After a normal and comfortable wake-up and breakfast, we will proceed to Badrinath via Chopta. Enjoy the scenic and breathtaking beauty of Chopta, and by evening, we will reach Badrinath. Overnight stay in Badrinath. Distance Covered: 21 km trek Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Pipalkoti/Govindghat

Day 9
Badrinath - Rudrprayag
Early in the morning, take a holy dip in Tapt Kund, and have Darshan of Badri Vishal again if time allows; otherwise, make an important visit to Nag Nagin Pith, known as one of the significant places in India for Sarp Kal Dosh Nivaran. Afterwards, take a short visit to Mana Village, including stops at Vyas Cave, Ganesha Cave, Keshav Prayag, Darshan of Saraswati Udgam (origin), Charan Paduka Darshan, and a brief visit to Ekadasi Gufa & Hanuman Gufa. Enjoy the view of Vishnu Prayag, Nandprayag, and Karnprayag while returning to Rudraprayag. This day is dedicated to completing all your pending rituals and karmas. At this Moksha Dham, your quest for salvation will be fulfilled. This program is designed to provide you with maximum time to experience the significance of this sacred land. The next day, we will drop you at Haridwar en route, with visits to three significant Prayags (Confluence of Holy rivers): Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag. Vishnuprayag is where two rivers, Dhauli Ganga & Alaknanda, confluence, Karnprayag is the confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda, and Nandprayag is the confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda River. Distance Covered: 246 km Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Stay: Pipalkoti/Govindghat

Day 10
Rudraprayag - Haridwar Drop
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will proceed to Haridwar en route Karnaprayag, Devprayag, and Rishikesh. Later, you will visit the fifth and last Prayag, Devprayag, on this route. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, you will visit Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula at your own pace, as these are not motorable. The suggested route is to enter Laxman Jhula and exit from Ram Jhula. You can explore the numerous ghats, temples, and beautiful ashrams along the way. As this is your last day and evening, it's essential to arrange your bags and pack. In the evening, you can enjoy shopping in Rishikesh. Departure to Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station for your journey back home. Wishing you all the best for your glorious and spiritual life. May God bless you with spiritual advancement, great peace, and excellent health.
